Siege Master

Campaign of the Third Spring · Day 1

Thirty days.
One fortress.
Never yet fallen.

Varrowmere has held for two hundred years. It has deep wells, thick walls and a marching to save it. You have engineers, patience and a plan. The plan is the game.

Every siege is a race between three clocks. Their food. Our food. And the relief army on the north road.

Bombard and you spend stone and supplies. Dig and you spend days. Assault too early and you spend men. Wait too long and Aldermoor's banners come over the ridge, and you spend everything.

The siege planner

Queue orders onto the thirty-day timeline. Each takes days and costs supplies; some only work if earlier orders went well. Then run the siege and read the diary. Click a queued order to strike it.

A siege is a machine you build out of time

Siege Master is a real-time strategy game about the long middle of a war: lines, trenches, engines, supply wagons and the slow arithmetic of hunger. You design and build the engines, run the camp, plan the breach and decide when to stop planning and climb.
